Mustangs kick Kinucks
The Mustangs came out flying on a stormy Monday night and skated to a 3-1 victory over the Kincardine team. Hanna Gerber opened the scoring early in the first firing a wrist shot over the Kincardine goalie. Assists went to Laeney Williams and Madelyn Yungblut.
Carly Kreller broke in all alone in the second and fired 5 hole to give the Mustangs a 2 goal lead.
Carly scored her second early in the third cutting into the net and going low on the netminder to give the Mustangs a 3 goal cushion. Laeney Williams picked up her second assist on a good forecheck keeping the puck deep in the Kincardine end and passing over to Carly.
Kincardine scored late to cut the lead to 2. Shelby Foster played a great game in the net limiting the Kincardine girls to 1.
