Sabre Tykes Enjoy Fun Days
Submitted By Dennis Mueller on Sun 01 13, 19
The Sabres continued their impressive season with 3 more strong outings at Steve Kerr Memorial this weekend at the 34th Annual Wallace Fun Days.  They used 3 different goalies in as many games and still came away with victories.

This year posed some definite challenges for tournament organizers as it was not held in Kurtzville (as usual).  In talking to visiting team parents, several commented on how well things ran.  Many volunteers pitched in to make the weekend run smoothly.  Fun Days would not be possible without the generous donations of the dozens of sponsors.  Executive also did a great job of not only organizing, but making sure everyone knew where to be and when.

Countless hours went into making this event a success for the 32 teams that entered.  Teams travelled from as far away as Whitby this year!  The organization definitely sets an impressive example of what youth hockey should be all about!  Check out the gallery in the menu on the left for some more pictures taken over the weekend!
